Job Description
The position requires demonstrated strategic ability to sell high-end websites/web-based applications & substantial knowledge of web marketing campaigns, the IT market and various domains.
You should have a keen marketing mind and have the ability to build and project our competencies for new business development.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for keeping in touch with clients, mostly international (phone, email & IM), developing business proposals in coordination with other departments, providing regular updates to clients and ensuring timely delivery of project.
- You will acquire new clients by conducting research on the internet to identify potential business opportunities and establishing personal contact with them.
- You will be analyzing and planning projects including but not limited to:
- Examining RFPs
- Preparing detailed estimation and costing process.
- Coordinating with other departments (programming, designing, content and web marketing) and collate their inputs in building the best solution approach.
- Identifying tools, technology and development platform.
- Drawing final proposal.
- Monitoring web marketing campaigns including SEO & PPC campaigns.
- Evaluating scope and scalability.
- Achieve account goals, planning etc.
- Negotiate & manage contracts & other legal formalities.
You Should Be An Expert At
- Bidding for projects.
- Making presentations (showcasing our domain and technology expertise / competencies in providing solutions) to the prospective clients as a part of sales pitch .
- Employing effective negotiation and closing techniques in securing profitable business.
- Identifying business needs, suggesting custom solutions and measuring ROI to solve client’s business problems.
- Monitoring market intelligence within the industry in terms of market development, new web marketing techniques, new projects, competitive activity, new customers etc.
- Leading the marketing team in preparing marketing collateral: brochures, presentations, capabilities documents, updating web site content etc.
- Ensuring timely delivery of client requirements without compromising quality.
- Managing out standings by ensuring timely collections.
Desired Profile Of The Candidate
You should have 3 - 7 years of experience in sales and marketing of web solutions and web-based services. A visionary with highly entrepreneurial attitude who is ready for any challenge is preferred.
- Proven experience of leading a small core team of developers and delivering projects on time and to brief.
- SEO/PPC/affiliate marketing expert with proven track record. Should be a good strategist/tactician and have knowledge of the latest industry trends.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills – ability to gain confidence of the client and motivate team to achieve its goal.
- Ability to build a brand and position it globally.
- Strong leadership, managerial and analytical capabilities.
- Very good organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Sound knowledge of English is MUST.
- Ability to multitask – You will need to juggle many tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to successfully service multiple clients and adapt to change.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
UG: Any.
PG: MBA/PGDBM in marketing preferred
