To lead and manage the visualization and design of websites and web applications for our overseas clients, plan, monitor & control the project to ensure that projects are completed within time and budget.

You should have good understanding of color theory, UI design, usability, human behaviour, web development methodologies, consulting best practices and common web architectures

As Senior Visualizer (Web Design) You Should Have

• Excellent understanding of colors schemes, layouts, usability and website templates.
• An artistic and creative zeal to visualize, conceive, develop & execute cutting edge designs.
• In-depth knowledge of the entire development life cycle of a website/web application.

You will interact with our North American (US and Canadian), European and Australian clients, visualize, conceptualise and define the project structure. You will coordinate with all the concerned departments (content, design, programming & marketing) to follow the project through from concept to final development.

You should have skills and experience in mentoring, project management, and cross-department communication. You will define project team organization, allocate resources, execute project assignments and monitor tasks assigned to team members.

You should be results driven; self motivated individual with minimum 2 years experience as a Senior Visualizer handling Web Design & Development projects.

You must have a proven track record of delivering successful projects and be able to meet tight deadlines while working under pressure.

Ability to multitask. Good time management, documentation/writing skills a must. A visionary with highly entrepreneurial attitude who is ready for any challenge is preferred

Technical Skills

• In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Action Scripting, XML etc. Exposure to scripting language (PHP, ASP, JSP) will be an added advantage.
• Extensive experience of Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash MX is essential. Candidates with knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, streaming audio and video will be given preference.
• Expertise in current Internet standards, including Web browsers and browser specifications.
• Ability to learn new Internet and authoring technologies relevant for web site development.

You Should Have Expertise In

• Driving multiple presales initiatives, obtaining client requirements, creating project proposals for prospective clients and guiding them to project win.
• Researching and analyzing client organization's industry and competition for website positioning.
• Skilled in using at least one well-known Project Management tool.
• Managing multiple, concurrent projects of varying complexity under time constraints.
• Documenting client’s requirements, creating statements of work and detailed web development project plans including timelines and effort estimates.
• Defining project team organization, allocating, executing project assignments and monitoring tasks assigned to team members.
• Establish success criteria and act as the Single Point of Contact for the client and project deliverables.
• Tracking and documenting status and time spent on web development projects.
• Reviewing and maintaining quality standards, work closely with QA resource & client's teams while performing due diligence with every project.
• Implementing best practices, improving our methodology and quality of work.

HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Corel Draw, Illustrator, Flash, Javascript, XML, DHTML, PHP, MySQL, CPanel, Content Management Systems (PHP Nuke, Mambo/Joomla, Drupal), OSCommerce, Web Marketing (SEO, PPC, Affiliate Marketing, Viral Marketing).

Visualization/Designing

• Understand the fundamentals of layout and design with a keen eye for font face and colors.
• Responsible for designing overall User Interface for e-commerce and corporate websites by translating brand, business strategies and requirements into effective, cohesive design solutions.
• Ensure design – colors, fonts, images – are in tune with branding guidelines and positioning strategy.
• Give concepts and ensure designing of visuals for online ad campaigns that engage, attract and sell.
• Give concept and guide designing team in the creation of cutting edge Flash intros & multimedia presentations.
• Ensure designing & development of cutting edge and engaging CBT & WBT solutions.
• Create marketing collaterals based on marketing guidelines – brochures, posters/banners for trade shows, ads, invitations etc.
• Schedule & distribute projects.
• Mentor & motivate a team of designers guiding them in creation of web designs as per the latest trends.

Team Management

• Mentor & motivate team members, conduct performance appraisals and provide team members with timely developmental feedback.
• Ensure implementation of quality control processes by the team members. Identify, develop and monitor systems for improving quality.
• Assess skill requirement in the team, work with HR department to identify candidates, plan recruitment drives, conduct interviews and make correct hiring decisions.
• Managing and resolving any challenges or problems as project progresses – client interactions, delivery expectations, team issues etc.
• Ensuring deadlines are met

This is a senior position. You will report directly to the CEO. You will be responsible for all the entire design work at Wisitech that includes creation of cutting edge web solutions for our clients from across the world.
