  • Podcasting population is on a par with those who publish blogs, 4.8 percent, and online daters, 3.9 percent.

  According to a Podtrac survey in 2006:

  • Over half (56%) of the podcast audience listen and view podcasts on their computers.
  • 46% listen and view podcasts on a portable device.

  The Podtrac survey also found:

  • A vast majority (88%) listen or view the entire podcast episode.
