Role Summary

We are looking for a forward-thinking SEO Strategist to pioneer Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies for AI-powered search engines. You will lead the evolution from traditional SEO to AI-first optimization, targeting Google, Bing, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and emerging answer engines, focusing on the future of search optimization.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s in Marketing, Digital Media, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3+ years SEO and digital marketing experience with proven organic traffic growth
  • Portfolio with case studies demonstrating traffic improvements and ranking growth
  • Experience optimizing content for AI-powered search engines
  • Track record improving brand mentions across traditional and generative search engines

Core Technical Skills

  • SEO Foundation On-page, off-page, technical SEO; Google Analytics, GA4, Search Console; SEMrush, Ahrefs, Surfer SEO
  • AI-First Search Tools ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, Perplexity; Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)
  • Content Strategy Keyword research for AI queries, content optimization for generative search, competitive analysis

Key Responsibilities

GEO Strategy & Implementation

  • Develop and execute GEO strategies for AI-powered search engines
  • Create content optimization frameworks for ChatGPT, Perplexity, and emerging answer engines
  • Design keyword research approaches adapted for generative AI search behaviors
  • Build measurement systems to track GEO performance across multiple AI platforms

Technical & Performance Analysis

  • Optimize content for AI-first search experiences and automated answer generation
  • Implement technical SEO strategies improving visibility in generative search engines
  • Monitor and analyze performance across Google, Bing, and generative search engines
  • Use data-driven insights to continuously refine GEO tactics and optimization approaches
