Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to build scalable PHP applications with cutting-edge AI integrations. You will lead backend development projects while implementing AI-powered features using Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and generative AI technologies, combining senior technical expertise with team leadership.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field; MCA strongly preferred
  • 7+ years hands-on PHP and MySQL development experience
  • 1-2 years AI and Machine Learning integration experience (LLM APIs, Generative AI, NLP)
  • Experience with cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipeline management
  • Proven track record in team leadership, mentoring, and client communication

Core Technical Skills

  • PHP Development Expert Core PHP, Laravel framework; WordPress, WooCommerce; MySQL, NoSQL databases
  • System Architecture RESTful APIs, GraphQL, microservices architecture, MVC design patterns
  • AI Integration OpenAI APIs, Google Cloud AI, Hugging Face, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude; Prompt engineering
  • Leadership Team management, mentoring, client communication, project delivery

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development & AI Integration

  • Design and develop scalable PHP applications using Laravel and Core PHP
  • Build robust APIs and microservices architecture using RESTful and GraphQL
  • Integrate AI technologies (chatbots, NLP, predictive analytics) into applications
  • Implement prompt engineering and AI-driven automation features

Team Leadership & Project Management

  • Lead and mentor PHP development team through code reviews and technical guidance
  • Coordinate with frontend developers, AI/ML engineers, and product teams
  • Communicate with clients to ensure projects meet requirements and deadlines
  • Drive adoption of best practices and coding standards across development teams
